BRAZIL XMAS 2016

Dear Friends and Supporters,   December 2016

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year! I just returned fromanother incredible ministry trip to Brazil. This will complete2016 with a total of six trips to the South American Continentand each trip was better than the previous. We focusedour attention on the State of Rio in the municipality of VoltaRedonda. We had 16 meetings in 14 days including hIghschools, colleges and church meetings. Even though the logisticswere challenging, the meetings were a huge success. My ministry team, who is based in the State of Bahia, whichis 22 hours north, had to drive the precarious 1500 km journeywith product and our animal examples in less than 24hours. Regardless of bad roads and unexpected stops, theyarrived just in time to have our first meeting. As with all ofour meetings, Gods presence and power were manifest inevery event. Hundreds responded to the call for salvationand God met the needs of all who were in attendance. I amalways amazed at the way God does things. When we arefaithful to stand and preach His word, He faithfully ministersto young and old in each event, confirming His love for eachperson, encouraging and empowering them by His Spirit.

There is nothing greater than seeing the lost come forward toreceive Jesus as their personal savior!

There is nothing greater than seeing the lost come forward toreceive Jesus as their personal savior!

There were so many testimonies from parents and teens alike, that God had indeed answered their prayers and challenged theirhearts. Our main contact was a Presbyterian Church who hadover 1000 churches in the area. These events gave me not onlythe opportunity to communicate to teens, but to their parentsas well. Lives restored, spirits lifted and souls saved was a nightlyoccurrence. As with every trip there were many who came to thealtar who were demon possessed. Without fail the Name of Jesuswas more than enough to see them dramatically set free anddelivered. Thanks for helping me go! CHAD DANIEL

Brazil October 2016

Dear Friends and Supporters,

Fall has finally arrived in Southern California and this canonly mean one thing; temperatures are heating up inSouth America. I just returned from a two week, 2000 mile road trip back to the states of Bahia and Sergipe. We had such powerful meetings here last month thatwe wanted to return and finish what God started. In every service the power of God was made manifest as hundreds of young and old responded to the tangible presence of the Spirit of God. As with all of our events there is an emphasis on salvation and encountering Jesusin a very real personal way. I am always amazed when I see HIM open the eyes of the desperate and bring life to those who are on the verge of giving up hope. At times the Spirit of God would be so strongly felt that we could not finish the service as people began to cry and weep around the venue. I attribute this directly to the prayers that you and others have offered to heaven on behalf of a generation.

In every service the Spirit of God would manifest with such power that young and old would shake as He met their needs!

We had many new doors and invitations into a few mainline denominations, something that I have been praying for since my first trip to Brazil. Not only does this expose to others what God is doing in our meetings, but it also gives me access to tens of thousands of teens who are looking to be discipled and taught about their newfound faith. I can then promote our JovembytesApp, giving them opportunity to engage with this free tool. I was thrilled to know that during this past trip our numbers spiked on our download page, confirming to me that our App was not only needed, but being used as well

The times of personal ministry at the altar was incredible.

The times of personal ministry at the altar was incredible.

I had a number of last minute opportunities arise while we were in the city of Aracaju. Numerous newspaper, radio and TV interviews were gladly accepted. But what had to be one of highlights was being invited to speak at a public high school. As usual we brought the snake and explained how small things get big, especially if you feed them. As I finished the meeting and began to speak very personally to the kids, the atmosphere changed and you could feel that heaven had just stepped into the court yard. The teens began to grow very quiet and then began to weep out loud. I was amazed that the grace of God had been made so very obvious to these hungry souls. I turned to look at the administrators and teachers and they were weeping as well. The principal gave me two thumbs up to continue with the message, taking as much time as I needed. I quickly pointed the message to the work of the cross and how Jesus had come to save and set free. Hundreds raised their hands, some accepting Jesus for the first time, others rededicating their lives to Him on the spot.

Ths simple message of the Cross and the promise of the life it offersopened the hearts of the people and the doors of heaven, creating anatmosphere of freedom and joy!

I was excited to see the response of the people to the Word of God and to His powerful presence. One of the hosting pastors was commenting, “we thought you were just a white guy with a snake who told stories.” I laughed out loud when mentioned this, telling him, “well sort of, I do use a snake, but the only story I tell is the one about a God who sent His only Son to die for the world,” he smiled and agreed that this story was all we needed. Although it was a fantastic trip, there were many challenges along the way. I had to utilize two new translators, who were nervous to say the least, a sick Iguana (who eventually died) and a head cold that never got any better. In spite of this and a few other communication issues, it was one of the most powerful trips I have ever been a part of, at least in Brazil. I will be returning in December to Rio for another two weeks of meetings. Please keep this and my current trip to India in Prayer. God is doing some wonderful things and I am believing that I will have the grace and strength to continue being obedient to Him in all areas of my life. Thanks again for helping us reach a generation with the Gospel of Life!

God was working not only in the hearts of the teens, but in their parents as well.

Brazil March 2016

Dear Family, Partners and Friends, I hope this finds you doing well. I just returned from three full weeks of ministry, first in Brazil and then in Cleveland, Tennessee. I had the privilege of participating in a weekend of intense youth meetings with my friend Perry Stone. Every spring he and his team at Omega Center International hold back-to-back events called “Warrior Fest” which several thousand teens attend to experience a touch from God. When I arrived in Tennessee I had only been back in the country for 24 hours and was running on fumes; God, however, gave me the grace to share the Word with over 4,000 young people. As usual, the energy was charged and the response of the teens to the Spirit of God’s presence was at times overwhelming. The altar calls lasted for over an hour as we laid hands on hundreds of hungry hearts. The impact of the events will most assuredly be felt for months to come. I will be returning to their summer Reformation events, specifically addressing the problem with suicide in this generation. I know God is going to do something wonderful. The two previous weeks found me in the state of Brasilia in the nation of Brazil. As usual we arrived and hit the ground running, excited about holding some of our first “Life Events” in this wonderful nation. As you know, the Life Event strategy involves me utilizing the Sea of Trees video that we filmed in Japan as well as my personal testimony. Having held this type of event in other nations, I was anxious to see how it would be received in Brazil; the results were staggering. At each event, the spirit of God filled the churches, confirming that He was in fact ready to address this topic in typical God-fashion, with great power and freedom available to those who would respond in faith to Him. The churches we were working with were all new contacts and they did not know me or Jovembytes, which probably worked in our favor as there were no preconcieved ideas or expectations; what God did confirmed the we had no other agenda but HIS!

Each night the Spirit of God filled the arena as the Name of Jesus was lifted in worship!

As with many of the churches in Brazil, video technology and wifi can be hard to come by, even in some of the biggest churches. I was a little concerned because my implementing the video section of the sermon was key to communicating the message effectively. By the grace of God, each church had some sort of video display system available and the meetings went as planned. In each event, the process was the same. I show the 12-minute section of the video then I preach for about 30 minutes, sharing the testimony of my father’s death and a portion of scripture that explains the spiritual battle behind what we are seeing around the world. As soon as I finish the message, I make a short invitation to those who are not only battling darkness and thoughts of suicide, but to those who have been impacted by this sinister spirit and are needing to forgive and accept life. Each and every time, hundreds came forward. At times it seemed like the entire church was at the altar crying out to God. What was happening was different than what we have been seeing in our other meetings in Brazil. We literally had young and old coming forward pouring out their hearts to God. As the worship team would begin to minister songs of life and freedom, the intensity would crescendo and you could feel your hair stand on end. We rebuked spirits of death, commanded demons to leave, and without fail people would begin to be set free, at time manifesting demons, who left in an awful shriek.

As the Spirit of God began to move at the altars, young and old began to weep and express their need of Jesus and His mercy!

As with every event, we always make our discileship and leadership materials available. I’m so glad we were able to translate all of them into Portuguese six years ago.

The pastors and leadership of the participating churches were amazed that there was such a response, and to see the power of God’s Spirit move in such dramatic fashion was at times breathtaking. This not only confirmed to them and those in attendance that God was in fact ready to deal with this issue first in his church, but ready to minister life to those who did not know Him. Many who were at the altar were not members of the church and were invited to come to our meetings as a last resort. In one memorable event, a pastor’s teenage daughter had been suicidal and depressed for weeks, having attempted suicide at one point this year and was determined not to come to the events. Through a series of God-ordained events she was in fact present and had a dramatic encounter with God. She came forward and as she said “something happened.” She was overcome by the Spirit of God and said she felt like something “left her”. She was visibly shaken after the event and was anxious to tell her parents what had happened. Apparently they had made an appointment for her with doctor the next day, to discuss what needed to be done to get her more help. I would have enjoyed hearing this girl’s story of freedom to her desperate parents! Jesus answered the prayers of many people and set this young girl free!

At each and every event, hundreds came forward in faith, receiving a powerful touch from Jesus.

In another church the meetings spilled out into the street. At the altar there was young girl who came forward under great duress. She would not come into the church and at one point was clinging to a streetlight pole refusing to come in the meeting. After the message, a pastor took her by the arm and struggled to get her to come to the altar. When she saw me, she refused to look at me. She sneered and looked away. I descended the stage and walked to her. I knew that this precious girl was battling for her life and that she was under the influence of a spirit. As I approached her, the pastor turned her head to look at me. With desperate tear-filled eyes, she gathered the courage to move towards me. As she did, I could feel the anointing overcome her and she began to manifest. I laid my hands on her head, she was overcome by the Spirit of God and collapsed, weeping loudly. God did to her what only He can do. She was gloriously set free!

I could go on and on about how God honored this unique message and through the power of His Word, changed the hearts of thousands of desperate people. Thanks to your continued support, we are chasing a generation for Him, proclaiming that there is life and in freedom in the son, Jesus!

Thanks for your continued support - we could not do any of this without you!

October 2013

Dear Family, Partners and Friends, I just returned from a two week trip to the southern states of Brazil, Parana, Santa Catarina and Rio Grande do Sul. Having traveled to many of these cities two years ago, it was good to be back and see all that God has been doing. Working in conjunction with the International Grace of God Church, we had 20 meetings in 14 days in 17 cities. As with all of our events, we hit the ground running with very little down time before, during and after each city. What has been great about the ministry in Brazil is the Youthbyte product, or “Jovembytes” as it is known in Portuguese. After an explosive launch in 2010, it is awesome to see that the waves we created then are still making an impact 3 years later. With the release of our final fourth box and airing of the TV program we have become sort of a household name (haha). Using the snake as an object lesson in the beginning was almost an afterthought. Having used our python “Monty” in our very first episode, people just assumed that we used animals all the time; the rest is history. Even as we were scheduling these events, we specifically told the pastors that we were not bringing a snake with us on this tour. Well, the pastors had other plans - at each church, in each state, there was a person with a python or boa availing it to the meetings! Needless to say the people loved it and the teens were thrilled to get a glimpse of the snake; I usually ask the crowd, “So you came to see a snake in church? Really? Who brings a snake to church?” They always point and say “Only you, Chad!” confirming God’s amazing sense of humor!

14 days, 20 meetings in 17 cities in the states of Parana, Santa Catarina and Rio Grande do Sul.

In each and every event, as the Word of God went forth, faith would rise in the hearts of the people and the spirit of God would do what only He can do, set people free. The evening services were packed with people standing for hours to hear and participate in the ministry. The altars were always filled with hungry hearts reaching out in faith. Testimonies of deliverance, salvation and healing were common. After the events, hundreds would come forward wanting to take pictures with the snake, share a report of what God had done or just want a hug of reassurance, appreciating that we had come to be with them. Daily radio and television interviews helped communicate the minstry and where each event was held. Thousands responded the call of salvation with great displays of emotion from the hurting and desperate. Jesus loves people and He confirmed it daily!

Since 2010 until now we have held over 250 meetings in Brazil, reaching over 500,000 teens with the Gospel. These events, combined with the sowing of Youthbtye resources and the television broadcast, has not only discipled countless thousands, but has empowered and equipped youth leaders all over the nation. The investment that has been made is continuing to produce fruit each and every day.

As you may or may not know, in January of this year there was a horrendous tragedy in the city of Santa Maria, a city where we had held meetings a year previously. An accidental fire in a local nightclub took the lives of 240 young people. I had the opportunity to visit the club, which is still covered in pictures of teens, notes from parents and countless vases of now withered flowers and cards. It was a moving scene, especially knowing that there were a number of young people from the church who died in the blaze. I do have peace knowing that the Christians who died received their reward in Jesus. We had a powerful event last week as young and old revaluated their hearts, remebering that our mortality is only overcome in Christ!

Thanks again for helping us go into all the world. We could not do what we do without your faithful support.
