BRAZIL XMAS 2016

Dear Friends and Supporters,   December 2016

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year! I just returned fromanother incredible ministry trip to Brazil. This will complete2016 with a total of six trips to the South American Continentand each trip was better than the previous. We focusedour attention on the State of Rio in the municipality of VoltaRedonda. We had 16 meetings in 14 days including hIghschools, colleges and church meetings. Even though the logisticswere challenging, the meetings were a huge success. My ministry team, who is based in the State of Bahia, whichis 22 hours north, had to drive the precarious 1500 km journeywith product and our animal examples in less than 24hours. Regardless of bad roads and unexpected stops, theyarrived just in time to have our first meeting. As with all ofour meetings, Gods presence and power were manifest inevery event. Hundreds responded to the call for salvationand God met the needs of all who were in attendance. I amalways amazed at the way God does things. When we arefaithful to stand and preach His word, He faithfully ministersto young and old in each event, confirming His love for eachperson, encouraging and empowering them by His Spirit.

There is nothing greater than seeing the lost come forward toreceive Jesus as their personal savior!

There is nothing greater than seeing the lost come forward toreceive Jesus as their personal savior!

There were so many testimonies from parents and teens alike, that God had indeed answered their prayers and challenged theirhearts. Our main contact was a Presbyterian Church who hadover 1000 churches in the area. These events gave me not onlythe opportunity to communicate to teens, but to their parentsas well. Lives restored, spirits lifted and souls saved was a nightlyoccurrence. As with every trip there were many who came to thealtar who were demon possessed. Without fail the Name of Jesuswas more than enough to see them dramatically set free anddelivered. Thanks for helping me go! CHAD DANIEL

India November 2016

Dear Friends and Supporters, November 2016

I just returned from a fruitful trip to Hong Kong and India. I have not been back for almost two years and I was excited that we had the opportunity to return. We made the most of our stop over in Hong Kong and filmed 5 programs. We visited the Gold Fish Market, the Wishing Tree and the infamous Temple Street Market. Each location offered the perfect backdrop to communicate a powerful message. As with all the videos we create, we use a natural example to
explain a spiritual truth. I cant wait to get these edited and on our App. After our brief time in Hong Kong we traveled to India to be a part of the Alive Conference in the city of Hyderabad. My friend Josh Komonapali hosted this event and I was honored to be a part of it. As usual we communicated the message of Life utilizing the Sea of Trees video and the results were the same as so many times before.Young people came forward weeping, crying out to God for
freedom and peace as they struggle with this life. Jesus was faithful to not only impart grace, but also set them free from many strongholds that kept them bound.

After the conference we boarded an overnight train to head to the city of Amalapuram. There is no greater experience than traveling in India by train. The smells, the sounds, the animals and
frantic pace of the stations reminds one of how good we have it in the USA. Arriving at 5am the next morning we took another 2 hour van ride to the city. Working with Josh and his families
established ministries, we had three full days of production, meetings and lots of fellowship. Our first stop was to a high school where we shared about harnessing the power of Gods creativity
in our personal lives. The teens were intrigued by our stories and method of communicating the truths of Gods Word.

The highlight of the trip was going to visit the Leper and HIV home. I have always had a very soft spot for those whom society has rejected. Even though our time was limited, I was excited to shake their hands, look them in the eyes and pray over each of them. They get very few visitors and our time with them was appreciated. We of course could not go to India and not film a memorable video message. We had the opportunity to visit a free cataract surgery clinic and film
in the operating theatre. Clothed in surgery scrubs I communicated how cataracts in the natural can limit our ability to utilize natural light, so does unforgivness and hardness of heart limit our ability to walk in Gods light. It was a profound simple message. From here we visited a home for children to share the Gospel with them. What a blast it was to have 250 attentive souls hanging on every word. I of course could not do a normal message, I needed to take it to another level and I did this by utilizing a T-Rex blow up costume. The message “Calling on Jesus Name when your afraid” was gladly accepted by the kids. Well, there were a few shreiks when he made his appearance.

Each night we had the opportunity to share the Word of God in small outdoor street meetings. This can be tricky since India frowns upon “conversion meetings” especially when foreigners are involved. This fact however did not deter us or our team from giving it 100% each night. As we shared the Word I was reminded that the secret to the Gospel is not in my power to communicate, but in its ability to produce faith when it is read. As expected each of these meetings did exactly that. Men, women and children responded to the simple message of Jesus, some for the very first time, others received miracles of healing as they came forward for prayer.
There is no greater experience than praying for someone who is desperate, someone who has no hope outside of Jesus. We prayed for all in attendance and were amazed at what God did through our simple obedience. It was an fruitful trip on all fronts and I am confident that the seeds sown during this time will produce fruit for eternity. We have plans to return to this wonderful nation in 2017 to again participate in the Alive Conference. Thanks again for helping us go into all the world for Him!

Brazil October 2016

Dear Friends and Supporters,

Fall has finally arrived in Southern California and this canonly mean one thing; temperatures are heating up inSouth America. I just returned from a two week, 2000mile road trip back to the states of Bahia and Sergipe. We had such powerful meetings here last month thatwe wanted to return and finish what God started. Inevery service the power of God was made manifest ashundreds of young and old responded to the tangiblepresence of the Spirit of God. As with all of our eventsthere is an emphasis on salvation and encountering Jesusin a very real personal way. I am always amazed when Isee HIM open the eyes of the desperate and bring life tothose who are on the verge of giving up hope. At timesthe Spirit of God would be so strongly felt that we couldnot finish the service as people began to cry and weeparound the venue. I attribute this directly to the prayersthat you and others have offered to heaven on behalf of ageneration.During

We had many new doors and invitations into a few mainlinedenominations, something that I have been praying for since myfirst trip to Brazil. Not only does this expose to others what Godis doing in our meetings, but it also gives me access to tens ofthousands of teens who are looking to be discipled and taughtabout their new found faith. I can then promote our JovembytesApp, giving them opportunity to engage with this “free” tool. Iwas thrilled to know that during this past trip our numbers spikedon our download page, confirming to me that our App was notonly needed, but being used as well

The times of personal ministry at the altar was incredible.

The times of personal ministry at the altar was incredible.

I had a number of last minute opportunities arisewhile we were in the city of Aracaju. Numerous newspaper, radio and TV interviews were gladly accepted. But what had to be one of highlights was beinginvited to speak at a public high school. As usual webrought the snake and explained how small thingsget big, especially if you feed them. As I finished themeeting and began to speak very personally to thekids, the atmosphere changed and you could feelthat heaven had just stepped into the court yard. Theteens began to grow very quiet and then began toweep out loud. I was amazed that the grace of Godhad been made so very obvious to these hungrysouls. I turned to look at the administrators and teachersand they were weeping as well. The principal gaveme two thumbs up to continue with the message, taking as much time as I needed. I quickly pointedthe message to the work of the cross and how Jesushad come to save and set free. Hundreds raised theirhands, some accepting Jesus for the first time, othersrededicating their lives to Him on the spot.

Ths simple message of the Cross and the promise of the life it offersopened the hearts of the people and the doors of heaven, creating anatmosphere of freedom and joy!

Ths simple message of the Cross and the promise of the life it offersopened the hearts of the people and the doors of heaven, creating anatmosphere of freedom and joy!

I was excited to see the response of the people to theWord of God and to His powerful presence. One of thehosting pastors was commenting, “we thought you werejust a white guy with a snake who told stories.” I laughedout loud when mentioned this, telling him, “well sort of,I do use a snake, but the only story I tell is the one about aGod who sent His only Son to die for the world,” he smiledand agreed that this story was all we needed. Althoughit was a fantastic trip, there were many challenges alongthe way. I had to utilize two new translators, who werenervous to say the least, a sick Iguana (who eventuallydied) and a head cold that never got any better. In spiteof this and a few other communication issues, it wasone of the most powerful trips I have ever been a partof, at least in Brazil. I will be returning in December toRio for another two weeks of meetings. Please keepthis and my current trip to India in Prayer. God is doingsome wonderful things and I am believing that I willhave the grace and strength to continue being obedientto Him in all areas of my life. Thanks again for helpingus reach a generation with the Gospel of Life!

God was working not only in the hearts of the teens, but in their parents as well.

September 2016

Dear Friends and Supporters,

Summer is ending and as usual Brazil is calling. I just returned from a two week, 3000-mile road trip through three states in the Northeast of the nation, Bahia, Sergipe and Pernambuco. Me, my interpreter David, our worship leader Caprini and our staff Vet Dean crammed our animal menagerie into our truck and completed 20 meetings in 15 days without any loss of life or limb! We worked hard to get to every event on time and God honored our faith and willingness to go where few people want to go. In every service the grace of God was made manifest as hundreds of young and old responded to the message of freedom and life in Christ! The reports are continuing to come in from pastors telling us that the freedom and deliverance received during our “Life Events” is continuing to produce fruit. Our message is simple; “Jesus wants to do good to you, regardless of how far you may fnd yourself away from Him.” The snake, the iguana and owl are all memorable examples we use to communicate the life-giving message of Jesus to a generation.

We finally acquired a ministry vehicle to travel the nation and transport our exotic payload with ease!

God opened an awesome door for us during these meetings. Correction officials in the state of Sergipe asked us to visit a maximum-security prison for violent teen offenders. Murderers, rapists and thieves, some as young as 12, crowded in cells of 15 or more, listened attentively as we shared the forgiveness found in Jesus! I could go one for hours about what God did on this trip, hundreds saved and set free as we shared the Gospel with boldness.

Thanks for helping us go! In Jesus Name- Chad Daniel

Brazil May 2016

Dear Friends & Family,

I just returned from a quick but fruitful trip back to Brazil. I had a business meeting with a couple of TV stations and a creative sit-down with my friend Pastor Marco who is my “TV voice” in Brazil. As with any other trip, I always try to make the most of my time, and in this case it was also to promote the “Life Event” strategy with a few key churches. We recently translated the Sea of Trees into Portuguese and we have begun to hold these anti-suicide events around the nation. My friend and translator coordinated some of these meetings in Rio and they were more than we expected. The first event was in a Baptist Church which graciously opened their doors to their weekly college and career service. I was curious to see how the message would be received and the altar call confirmed what I suspected. Over 100 young adults came forward for prayer, ask-ing God to not only deliver them from tormenting thoughts and overwhelming hopelessness, but also to receive grace to forgive those who had hurt them. As the Spirit of God began to move, voices were heard all over the sanctuary crying and weeping before the Lord.  I was encouraged as the altar service continued for almost 45 minutes. God did so many wonderful things that night, I am still receiving reports about the services.

We recently released the Sea of Trees DVD in Portuguese and the results we have seen utilizing this unique message have been overwhelming.

The time praying for young and old at the altars was incredible. I was honored to agree with those who were believing God do a miracle in their lives.

The other event we held was with a friend of mine at an Assemblies of God Church in Rio. The pastor hosted us years ago when he was a youth pastor. The night was one of the most unusual I have had the privilege of being a part of. It was Sunday night and the crowds were smaller than usual. I had to have the teens come forward from the balcony to be in the front with me. After I preached and showed a clip from the video, the spirit of God began to move, but this time it was a very definitive direction that I was experiencing. I noticed a woman in the audience and called her forward with a word of Knowledge. As she walked forward to the left side of the stage I could tell something was happening in her life. She approached the stage defiantly. As the word for her came forth, she began to break and weep openly. As we ministered to her the church was getting very excited, which I thought was odd since we did not use the microphone to speak with her so they heard nothing I said at the altar.. When I finished, I was directed to the far right side of the stage and called a teenager out from the crowd. She came forward weeping and to my surprise, I gave her the exact same word from the Lord that I had minutes before given the other woman. Suddenly as the young girl began to weep and cry with great force, a voice whispered in my ear, “Chad, this is that woman’s daughter.” I was blown away. I quickly went down, grabbed the girl by the arm and brought her to her mother who was now lost in a flood of emotions and great joy. As I presented the daughter to her mother the church went wild. The two embraced and wept, rejoicing in what God had orchestrated. As I later learned, the woman had 4 different children from four different men and had a questionable reputation. She had been concerned that her daughter was following in her footsteps and did not know where to turn. God singled out this family that night to not only bring restoration and reconciliation, but to confirm to the church that it is He who hears the prayers of the broken and gives grace to all who call on HIM!

Dear Family, Partners and Friends,

I hope this finds you doing well. I just returned from three full weeks of ministry, 1st in Brazil and then in Cleveland, Tennessee. I had the privilege of participating in a weekend of intense youth meetings with my friend Perry Stone. Every spring he and his team at Omega Center International hold back-to-back events called “Warrior Fest” which several thousand teens attend to experience a touch from God. When I arrived in Tennessee I had only been back in the country for 24 hours and was running on fumes; God, how- ever, gave me the grace to share the Word with over 4,000 young people. As usual, the energy was charged and the response of the teens to the Spirit of God’s presence was at times overwhelming. The altar calls lasted for over an hour as we laid hands on hundreds of hungry hearts. The impact of the events will most assuredly be felt for months to come. I will be returning to their summer Reformation events, speci cally addressing the problem with suicide in this generation. I know God is going to do something wonderful. The two previous weeks found me in the state of Brasilia in the nation of Brazil. As usual we arrived and hit the ground running, excited about holding some of our rst “Life Events” in this wonderful nation. As you know, the Life Event strategy involves me utilizing the Sea of Trees video that we lmed in Japan as well as my personal testimony. Having held this type of event in other nations, I was anxious to see how it would be received in Brazil; the results were staggering. At each event, the spirit of God lled the churches, con rming that He was in fact ready to address this topic in typical God-fashion, with great power and freedom available to those who would respond in faith to Him. The churches we were working with were all new contacts and they did not know me or Jovembytes, which probably worked in our favor as there were no preconceived ideas or expectations; what God did con rmed the we had no other agenda but HIS!

As with many of the churches in Brazil, video technology and wi can be hard to come by, even in some of the biggest churches. I was a little concerned because my implementing the video section of the sermon was key to communicating the message e ectively. By the grace of God, each church had some sort of video display system available and the meetings went as planned. In each event, the process was the same. I show the 12-minute section of the video then I preach for about 30 minutes, sharing the testimony of my father’s death and a portion of scripture that explains the spiritual battle behind what we are seeing around the world. As soon as I nish the message, I make a short invitation to those who are not only battling darkness and thoughts of suicide, but to those who have been impacted by this sinister spirit and are needing to forgive and accept life. Each and every time, hundreds came forward. At times it seemed like the entire church was at the altar crying out to God. What was happening was different than what we have been seeing in our other meetings in Brazil. We literally had young and old coming forward pouring out their hearts to God. As the worship team would begin to minister songs of life and freedom, the intensity would crescendo and you could feel your hair stand on end. We rebuked spirits of death, commanded demons to leave, and without fail people would begin to be set free, at time manifesting demons, who left in an awful shriek.

As with every event, we always make our discileship and leadership materials available. I’m so glad we were able to translate all of them into Portuguese six years ago.

The pastors and leadership of the participating churches were amazed that there was such a response, and to see the power of God’s Spirit move in such dramatic fashion was at times breathtaking. This not only confirmed to them and those in attendance that God was in fact ready to deal with this issue first in his church, but ready to minister life to those who did not know Him. Many who were at the altar were not members of the church and were invited to come to our meetings as a last resort. In one memorable event, a pastor’s teenage daughter had been suicidal and depressed for weeks, having attempted suicide at one point this year and was determined not to come to the events. Through a series of God-ordained events she was in fact present and had a dramatic encounter with God. She came forward and as she said “something happened.” She was overcome by the Spirit of God and said she felt like something “left her”. She was visibly shaken after the event and was anxious to tell her parents what had happened. Apparently they had made an appointment for her with doctor the next day, to discuss what needed to be done to get her more help. I would have enjoyed hearing this girl’s story of freedom to her desperate parents! Jesus answered the prayers of many people and set this young girl free!

At each and every event, hundreds came forward in faith, receiving a powerful touch from Jesus.

At each and every event, hundreds came forward in faith, receiving a powerful touch from Jesus.

In another church the meetings spilled out into the street. At the altar there was young girl who came forward under great duress. She would not come into the church and at one point was clinging to a streetlight pole refusing to come in the meeting. After the message, a pastor took her by the arm and struggled to get her to come to the altar. When she saw me, she refused to look at me. She sneered and looked away. I descended the stage and walked to her. I knew that this precious girl was battling for her life and that she was under the influence of a spirit. As I approached her, the pastor turned her head to look at me. With desperate tear-filled eyes, she gathered the courage to move towards me. As she did, I could feel the anointing overcome her and she began to manifest. I laid my hands on her head, she was overcome by the Spirit of God and collapsed, weeping loudly. God did to her what only He can do. She was gloriously set free!

I could go on and on about how God honored this unique message and through the power of His Word, changed the hearts of thousands of desperate people. Thanks to your continued support, we are chasing a generation for Him, proclaiming that there is life and in freedom in the son, Jesus!

Thanks for your continued support - we could not do any of this without you!

February 2016

I turn fifty this month, and although I can’t say I feel any different emotionally, physically it is obvious that the millions of miles traveled have taken their subtle toll. The small aches and pains are to be expected, but like the Apostle Paul said in Philippians 4:13, “I can do all things through Him who strengthens me,” and it is that very strength that is at work in me as we press into 2016. We have completed the Youthbytes app as of last week and it is in review process with Apple and Google. This will be a 52-week video devotional with accompanying written devotional, scripture and practical relevant prayer. Designed to be used daily or weekly, the content is sure to encourage, convict and empower all who engage it. We are also partnering with YouVersion, the Bible app company, to publish our Youthbtyes app in Mandarin. This is an exciting opportunity and it is scheduled to launch with them this summer. We are also finalizing this app in Spanish, Russian, Portuguese and Nepalese, and the exciting thing for me is that we are making it available for free! Beacuse of the faithfullness of God and you, our supporters, we are able to fund these projects and put the power of disicipleship in the hands of the those who desire to grow in their relationship with God. As soon as the English version is released I will send out an email and letter informing you of its availability in iTunes or the Google Play store. Please keep these last few details in prayer.

It is always an honor to be with Perry Stone. The TBN broadcast we recorded exposed the lies behind suicide.

It is always an honor to be with Perry Stone. The TBN broadcast we recorded exposed the lies behind suicide.

In February I had the opportunity to travel to Atlanta and be a guest on the TBN Praise the Lord program hosted by my friend Perry Stone. We had a great talk about teen suicide and the hidden motivations behind it. Along with other special guests, we exposed the lies of the enemy and encouarged teens and parents alike to speak words of life over a generation! We had some great response when the program aired last week. While there I also had the opportunity to be a part of a global leadership forum designed to talk about international strategies to disciple the nations. It was a candid and informative couple of days.

As you know, we went to Israel last year to produce four TV programs in and around Jerusalem. We will be finishing up the editing of these programs and preparing them not only for broadcast, but to be utilized in the app as well. We have had a lot of requests for Israel-based messages shot on location and they are almost done.

Max and I will be leaving for Brazil in the next two weeks for 14 days of ministry. Max has sharpened a unique gift in photography over the past couple of years and he will be documenting all that God is doing in this wonderful nation. He will be 18 this summer; it seems like it was only yesterday that he was a little boy crying as I left to go on another overseas adventure. I’m excited that in the past four years he has been able to see firsthand all that God is doing in the lives of people around the world. Rhett is recovering from his motorcycle accident last month and is anxious to get his cast off and continue his normal, active 15-year-old schedule. Shay is enjoying her position at the Children’s Assessment Center of San Bernardino. Her love and passion for children has never waned and I’m thrilled to see her walking in the grace God has given her!

Thanks again for your continued prayer and financial support.

We have finally completed the Youthbtye app! I’m excited to see it released next month in the iTunes app store and in the Google Play store. Once it is launched we will then launch the Spanish, Portuguese and Russian versions. I am thrilled to put this discipleship tool in the hands of those who need it most. When it hits the stores I will let you know! It is going to be FREE!
